When we transition your account to an Open Banking API you may see some duplicate transactions in the last few days of your transactions.
Our system is built to overlap the two sources of data and then remove duplicates to ensure continuity of your transactions. However, because the way transactions are provided by your bank via API differs from the way transactions are provided via credential sharing, we may miss a couple of duplicates.
We designed the system to be more conservative in identifying duplicates so that you don’t lose transactions.
If you notice duplicates you can use the delete function (only available on web) to remove the duplicate transactions.
To remove duplicates:
- Go to the main Transactions screen on the web application (www.moneydashboard.com)
- Select duplicate transactions using the checkbox that appears to the left of the transaction when you hover over the transaction (NOTE: make sure you leave one transaction unchecked)
- Select “Delete transactions” button in the top right
- Enter your password to delete transactions
PLEASE NOTE transaction deletion is permanent. This will alter your balance history and we cannot re-add these transactions for you.
