1. What Lloyds Account Types can be switched to Open Banking?
Not all accounts can be switched to open banking, see here. Currently, you will see a “Switch to Open Banking” button wherever a provider offers some accounts for OpenBanking, however we cannot know in advance which accounts will be available at the bank’s side. At present Lloyds Open Banking only supports current accounts, credit cards and some cash savings accounts. Other savings account types and all ISAs are not yet supported.

Step 1. Navigating to the accounts page
- If you are in full screen mode you will see the Accounts tab on the top ribbon of your main dashboard.
- If you are on a smaller view you will see
in the top left hand corner. Click on it and select Accounts from the drop down menu. - For both views you will now be in the Accounts page.
Step 2. Switching to Open Banking
- Next to your Lloyds accounts you will see ‘Switch to Open Banking’
- Click on ‘Switch to Open Banking’
- Please make sure you have checked if your account is eligible to switch here.
- Please follow the prompts on the Lloyds page
3. Switching to Open Banking for supported Lloyds accounts (iOS/Android)
Step 1. Navigating to the accounts page
- On your main dashboard tap on Accounts in the bottom ribbon
- You will then be taken to the page showing you all your available accounts
Step 2. Switching to Open Banking
- Tap on the account you want to switch
- Select ‘Migrate Account’ from the menu
- Please make sure you have checked if your account is eligible to switch here.
- Please follow the prompts on the Lloyds page
