There is only a single reason for getting a D312 error; refreshing too soon. You'll get this error if you try to refresh an account again while you're still in the process of updating it, or trying to refresh the same account again too soon after you've added/refreshed it.
A successful refresh will have a two step notification process - you'll get the first one when the login connection to the bank has been successful, and another notification when we've retrieved the transactions/balances and imported them to your Dashboard. Depending on the amount of data we need to fetch and process, or if there are any site speed problems at the bank's site, this can take a little while after the first connection notification.
Once you see the first successful connection notification take a step back, resist the urge to hit the refresh button again if you're not seeing new transactions straight away, and wait for the second notification.
If you do end up triggering a D312 error then the great thing is it's not really an error at all, but request for patience. 9 times out of 10 if you wait a couple of minutes longer after getting it you'll find the the transactions and balances have gone on to update successfully in the background.

What to do?
- Wait at least 20 minutes before you attempt to refresh again (NOTE: if you have tried multiple times e.g. 8 or more a longer block of 24 hrs will be put in place)
- If for some reason you get this error again when trying to refresh please contact support by copying and pasting the form below saying that you have had multiple D312 errors even though you waited 20 minutes, or if you get a D312 error without making any prior manual refresh attempts.
