1. Changes to login process for web-based online banking
On 12th March 2019 Barclaycard made a significant change to the login process for their web-based online banking, though as far as we are aware their mobile app login is unchanged. Our data provider Yodlee have now made changes to handle the new login process.
If you added a Barclaycard account to your Dashboard prior to that date then to reconnect the account you will first need to login to the web-based Barclaycard site and ensure you have set up the new login details. Then, please update the new the login details for the Barclaycard account on Money Dashboard with the following instructions.
Enter either:
Username - Usernames must be between 8-16 characters and only contain numbers and letters.
Or
Card Number - full 16 digit card number without spaces
Or
ID Number - the ID number (9 characters long) issued to you by Barclaycard when registering for their online banking service
Passcode (Mandatory) - Enter the full 6 digit passcode for the full web login for Barclaycard, and not the 5 digit passcode for the Barclaycard mobile app.
Memorable Word (Mandatory) - must be between 6-8 characters and can only contain letters.
2. Known bank error with Open Banking switch on Barclaycard accounts
There is currently a known bank error with the Open Banking switch on Barclaycard accounts. Money Dashboard have escalated this issue with the bank and we will make the Open Banking connection available once Barclaycard has resolved this issue.
