This article provides detailed information for refreshing existing connected Smile accounts and how to update your credentials on the web application (Desktop) and mobile application (IOS/Android).
1. Why isn’t my Smile account refreshing?
There has been a change in authentication requirements from your bank provider, your connected Smile accounts will need to be manually refreshed and you will be prompted to input your Smile account banking credentials. We appreciate that this step is time-consuming and apologise for the inconvenience caused. The way to mitigate this is to establish an Open Banking API connection between your Smile account and Money Dashboard. At this point in time, Smile does not have an Open Banking API.
